Ok I got bored and the little gears of ADD started to turn. i was wanting to get a liner for my Gor-Tex parka but didn't want to spend that kind of money for one. I came up with a solution. The old M65 Field jackets had button in liners and they only cost like 20 bucks. I have a few laying around lol. I also had a military BDU jacket that I couldn't fit anymore so it gladly donated its buttons for the cause.

I laid out the jacket and the liner on the floor as if it was already put together. I marked out where the bottons should go and sewed them on.

There you have it a really comfortable, warm, and inexpensive Parka modification that really wont break you.

Hey it gets cold here. I went camping last winter and it got down to 0. Thats f not c Caleb lol. I have no clue what the wind chill was but it was windy. That Gor-tex parka made it a comfortable (somewhat) camp out. Another time it dropped to 17. I found out that when it gets that cold it is just cold.

That's awesome!! I found a cheap jean military jacket on www.cheaperthandirt.com for unde $4 only problem is they only have medium sizes so if you are a smaller framed person they are perfect!!

hint hint to Sean, Sharon, Jeff, Tyler, and both Robs!!
